As part of UKirk at Michigan State's continuing response to the mass shooting on campus February 13, Carmelle Beaugelin, a Haitian-American artist/theologian based in Princeton, NJ, will lead two art and spirituality workshops on Saturday, March 25 at Eastminster Presbyterian Church, 1315 Abbot Road in East Lansing.  Participants should choose one session or the other. The morning workshop is at 10AM and the afternoon workshop will be held at 1PM. The event is FREE and registration is required here. Space is limited, so register now! An optional lunch will be offered between the two sessions.

Where is God when tragedy strikes?
What can healing look like in the face of an uncertain future?

Come explore these questions and name your grief and visions of hope through a guided creative practice at the intersection of art, spiritual reflection and courageous conversation. You do not need any artistic skill at all to participate! We hope that you will find this workshop a meaningful step in the journey toward healing.
